Maungakotukutuku forest
The Maungakotukutuku forest is available to ride in 24/7 and a Free riding permit is obtainable online from the Greater Wellington council: https://www.gw.govt.nz/parks/permit-applications/. You will need a “My GW” account, and apply for a “Motorised Recreation”

If you are riding in the forest, Please do ensure you have an up to date permit. Not only is it mandatory, it allows the council to assess usage, and helps keep it open for everyone.
Access & Parking
Access to Maungakotukutuku Forest is on Maungakotukutuku Road. Approximately 3.5km from the Turn off from Valley Road in Paraparaumu.
A parking area can be found when crossing the stream, or a small amount is also available road-side. Indicated in the areas marked red in the images below.
Private Properties
Please respect that these property's are private residence, these are to be ridden only during club events and after the trials master has arrived. You must also be signed in and paid before riding.
